A customer set up a new domain for their company, planning to redirect their old domain to the new one. They performed a fresh osCommerce installation on the new domain and wanted to know if it was possible to transfer their app shop license key from the old site to the new one to maintain access to all their purchased apps.
The osCommerce team provided clear instructions for updating the app shop key and ensuring all apps would be accessible on the new site:
- Navigate to the App Shop settings in the customer’s account.
- In the Assigned Shops section, click Change to update the key (illustrated with a screenshot).
- Input the new storage key into the Admin → App Shop section on the new site.
Once these steps were completed, all previously purchased apps would appear in the library of the new installation.
